About Me
I am a Christian woman who has been happily married for over 15 years and a mom to a bright and enthusiastic nine year old boy who currently lives with autism. I am a graduate student at Capella University who is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy with a Minor in Play Therapy/Special Needs. I am currently fulfilling the role of ";lay counselor" within my local church providing minimal counseling services to couples. I will experience my second residency next year (2019) and will then be drawing close to the beginning of practicum and two internships. I am currently working in a local preschool fulfilling the role of register for the district. Therefore, I am searching for somewhere I could work full-time during my practicum and internships earning the necessary hours. I have over twenty years of administrative, executive assistant experience. So, obtaining a position in a therapy or counseling atmosphere mainly fulfilling a secretarial type role could be ideal.
