About Me
My name is Danielle and I am seeking a master's degree in family and marriage counseling. I studied English Literature and African American Studies at Boston University. I currently work as a College Success Coach/Advisor at a non-profit, serving underrepresented students from Boston Public Schools transitioning to two and four-year institutions. This position led me to begin working on my own project. From listening to friends and students, I decided to begin building a holistic art healing practice. This allows me to use my artistic gifts as a life and relationship coach. However, I did not want to stop at being a coach. I seek to become a licensed therapist, with the goal of continuing the work and leading healing retreats.
I am excited to start this journey because I finally know what I want to do and how I want to use my gifts. I am nervous because I have a full-time job and I am a single mother of a busy five-year-old. I am also still working on my project.
