About Me After working many years as an operations management professional, I am re-enrolled as a full-time M.S. student, in Capella University's Marriage and Family Therapy program. I recognize that I have a passion for people/families who are dealing with some type of transition, including divorce, loss of a family member, adding a family member (new baby, adoption, an elderly parent), blended families, etc. In my last position, I worked in an assisted living setting, serving seniors and individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities and the family dynamics associated therewith.

As a Senior Living Community Administrator, my ability/capacity to assist was limited to the scope of my position and I often saw that the individual and/or family needed more than housing and assistance with the activities of daily living. There is a true and substantial need to "treat the whole person", (e.g., dealing with loss, change, aging, loss of cognition, etc.) and I am dedicating the rest of my working life to do so, making the right kind of difference, one person/family at a time.
