About Me My name is Halle and I am 24 years old studying Marriage and family therapy. My undergraduate degree is in broadcast journalism so this is a different path for me. One day after working a job that was very inconvenient because of the location , I found my passion. I noticed that waking up at 4AM and driving to this job four days a week, with twelve hour shifts, didn’t bother me . It interested me tremendously and this job was as a behavioral aid at a mental illness facility. I enjoyed working with the patients and helping them accomplish daily tasks. The job was so rewarding that I said to myself I have to do this as my career. Now I am doing everything I can to be apart of constant research and movement for change in mental healthcare.
