About Me Steevy Griffin is graduate student at Capella University in pursuit of her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is aiming to serve her community through her (eventual) private practice in New York City and is passionate about working with a wide variety of people, regardless of cultures, genders, religions, life circumstances, and sexual orientations.

Steevy spent 11 years in global marketing developing brand stories for large companies like Snapchat, traveling the globe and developing relationships worldwide before she discovered that her true passion was using her interpersonal skills to guide others on their own paths through healing and self-discovery. Steevy aims to curate an atmosphere where her clients feel comfortable, safe, understood and heard. Using solution-focused therapy and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, Steevy’s practice is intentional, rooted in holistic empowerment, empathetic healing and self-awareness. Steevy operates from a collaborative foundation of self-reflection so that her clients are able to make constructive meaning out of past experiences. She brings enthusiasm, compassion, warmth and humor to her sessions.
